Jody Work, Registered Nurse

Jody Work has been a registered nurse since 2012 and has worked as an Aesthetic RN for most of her career. She has extensive experience with laser hair removal, botox/Dysport injections, filler injections, skin resurfacing/tightening, microneedling and skin vascular lesions. 

She is a passionate and compassionate healthcare advocate who is known for her attention to detail. Her goal is to establish lasting relationships with her patients and provide then with quality, safe and satisfying care. Jody was raised in Santa Cruz and has been an active community member for over 20 years. 

Everest Goldstein, Nurse Practitioner

Everest Goldstein is a board-certified nurse practitioner with a background in aesthetics, functional medicine, and mental health. Everest is passionate about treating each patient individually and holistically to help them look and feel their very best. She has a B.A. from Princeton University, a Master in Nursing from Vanderbilt University, and a Master of Education from Southern Methodist University. She is also completing her functional medicine certification through the Institute for Functional Medicine. In her free time, Everest loves to be outdoors by the beach or in the mountains with friends and family.

Dr. Richard Gilbert, Medical Director

Dr. Richard Gilbert has been in private practice in Aptos, CA for over 40 years. He graduated from the University of Nebraska Medical School, Omaha in 1975 and completed his psychiatric residency from the University of California Davis in 1979. He has a special interest in functional medicine, which uses a patient’s story as a key tool for integrating a diagnosis, signs and symptoms, and evidence of clinical imbalances into a comprehensive approach to improve both the patient’s environmental inputs and his or her physiological function.
